Troopers arrest three people in drug bust on I-95 in Bangor

BANGOR, Maine (WGAN) Two women from Bangor and one man from New York were arrested in a drug bust on I-95 in Bangor.

Maine State Police say 38-year-old Karey Sinclair and 52-year-old Ernestine Chubbuck, both of Bangor, were arrested, along with 33-year-old Robert Arrington of Brooklyn, New York.

Police stopped the vehicle on I-95 in Bangor for a traffic violation the night of Tuesday, December 2nd. Police noted “criminal indicators” and searched the vehicle. Inside, they found and seized 15 grams of suspected heroin, 2.7 grams of cocaine base, .25 grams of crystal meth, and more than $3,600 in suspected proceeds from the sale of illegal drugs.

All three were charged with unlawful trafficking of schedule W drugs. They’re being held at the Penobscot County Jail.
