A delivery truck that crashed on a highway off-ramp in Bangor on Thursday left gallons of milk on the roadway.

Maine State Police say the driver of the Oakhurst Dairy truck lost control at the exit 3 ramp on I-395 around 6 a.m. Thursday. The truck overturned, spilling crates of milk.

The driver, a 35-year-old man from Newburgh, was taken to the hospital but his condition was unknown.

Police say speed was a factor in the crash.

Both the on and off ramps from Main Street to the westbound side of I-395 were expected to remain closed for several hours following the crash.
