Auburn Police say a traffic stop gave them information leading to a raid where a large amount of illegal drugs from out of state were found.

Officers say they conducted the raid at 3:05 am Saturday at the Quality Inn on Washington Street North, where they found approximately 15 grams of suspected cocaine, fentanyl pills, and more than $5,000 in suspected drug proceeds.

They arrested 33-year-old Mantrell Tidwell and 22-year-old Anita Tanis, both of Lewiston, on several charges, including drug trafficking.
