AUBURN, Maine (WGAN) Police in Auburn have made two arrests in connection with a suspected drug overdose.

First responders arrived to a home on Riverside Drive around 7:30am Sunday to find a 29-year-old man unresponsive. Attempts to resuscitate him failed and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation was launched after the death was determined to be a suspected overdose. Drug agents executed a search warrant at the home of Kevin Camp on Fifth Street in Auburn. There, they found 10 grams of heroin as well as evidence of drug trafficking.

Police arrested 41-year-old Kevin Camp and 33-year-old Frank Lynch of Leeds. They were both charged with trafficking and violating conditions of release. Their charges are expected to be elevated to Aggravated Trafficking once the Medical Examiner’s Office completes their autopsy and testing.
