GARDINER, Maine (WGAN) Two people are killed in a suspected murder-suicide in Gardiner on Tuesday morning.

Maine State Police say officers responded to a report of shots fired at a home at 16 Fairview Street around 11:30am. They found two victims at the scene. A man was found dead outside of the home and a woman had two gunshot wounds. She was rushed to Maine General Hospital in Augusta where she later succumbed to her injuries.
