Two men found passed out in vehicle in Gray charged with drug trafficking

GRAY, Maine (WGAN) Police uncovered fentanyl and other illicit substances in a vehicle after two men were found asleep and disoriented inside of it.

The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says an officer arrived to wake the two men, who were sitting in a car on Center Road in Gray a little after 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The car was running and in drive.

The men were identified as 43-year-old Matthew Grant of Yarmouth and 36-year-old Zachary Cleaves of Biddeford. Police found 24 grams of fentanyl and other illicit drugs in the vehicle.

The two were charged with drug trafficking and taken to Cumberland County Jail.
