There are two new arrests connected to a vehicle fire in Steuben back in October.

The Fire Marshal’s Office says the vehicle fire was reported on Oct. 13, 2024, on Pinkham Bay Bridge Road.

Cameron Brown, 30, of Steuben was arrested and charged with arson shortly after the fire.

On Wednesday, authorities arrested 38-year-old William Smeal and 37-year-old Taylor Keene at their residence in Ellsworth.

Investigators say Keene was the owner of the vehicle involved in the fire.

The pair were brought to Hancock County Jail.
