Police say the crash happened at the intersection of Route 302 or Roosevelt Trail and Maverick Lane at 2:12 p.m. Each vehicle had a single occupant inside, both of whom were taken to Maine Medical Center.

Police are still investigating but believe speed wasn’t a factor.

The road was closed for about two hours.
