Two people were rescued on Androscoggin Lake Saturday afternoon after firefighters say their canoe capsized.

Our info partners at CBS 13 news report the rescue happened around 6:30 pm Saturday. Officials at Leeds Fire Department say the two canoeists were in the water after they capsized and were later picked up by good samaritans in a nearby boat.

According to rescue officials, the two people are expected to fully recover.
