United Airlines is adding new options for non-stop flights from the Portland Jetport to California for summer 2027.

The airline will resume flights to San Francisco on Saturdays starting May 8, 2027 and add a new Wednesday flight starting on June 23.

United is also resuming flights to Los Angeles on Saturdays starting June 26 and adding six new Wednesday flights during the summer.

The jetport says flights to San Francisco were so popular this year, the airline extended them for five weeks longer than expected.

In a statement on Monday, Portland Airport Director Paul Bradbury said in part, “The demand exceeded our expectations and we are now seeing United at 65% more flights to California for summer 2027. We are grateful to United for the continued investment in the Portland market and look forward to the additional flights to California.”
