The University of Maine at Fort Kent says one of their students has tested positive for COVID-19.

They’re the 7th student in the University of Maine system to test positive. The school says they’re asymptomatic and are in isolation.

The new case was detected outside of the UMS’s asymptomatic testing system, under which about 1,400 students have already been tested ahead of the fall semester.

Five cases have been reported among students at UMaine in Orono and another at the University of Maine School of Law.
