Vassalboro Man Charged with Assaulting Infant Son


VASSALBORO, Maine (WGAN)  State Police have charged a Vassalboro man with assaulting his infant son earlier this year.

23-year-old Dylan J. Wood is charged with aggravated assault. He was arrested last Saturday by troopers and taken to the Kennebec County Jail where he has since been released on bail.

Wood’s 8-month-old son has been hospitalized at Maine Medical Center in Portland since he was first taken to the hospital with serious injuries on January 2.

Wood has been charged with felony assault.
