Police have identified the victim of a homicide in Lewiston and have a suspect in custody.

Public Safety Spokesperson Shannon Moss says 37-year-old Nicholas Blake of Lewiston was found dead at a residence at 70 River Street on Wednesday.

Police found the man’s body while responding to a robbery complaint at a nearby address.

The medical examiner ruled the death a homicide on Thursday.

On Friday, a search warrant was executed at another River Street address and police arrested 47-year-old Barry Zollarcoffer of Lewiston. He was charged in connection with Blake’s death.

Zollarcoffer will appear in court next week.
