Victim in fatal fire in Penobscot County identified

Investigators have identified the victim who died in a fire in the town of Winn.

The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office says 82-year-old Jean Fogg died in a house fire on Route 168 back in March.

She was found dead in the debris after the other occupants told fire crews there was someone still unaccounted for.

There’s been no word on the cause of the fire.
