Victim in Standish homicide identified

Police have identified the victim in a homicide in Standish.

Investigators say 23-year-old Thomas Foster of Porter was found dead of a gunshot wound Tuesday night at a home on Kennie Drive following a report of a fight.

A second man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, but there was no word of any charges.

The investigation is ongoing and police say there’s no danger to the public.
