Vigil to be Held for Maine Girl Missing More Than 2 Month

A vigil is being held for a 14-year-old girl from New Sweden, who’s been missing for more than two months.

Stefanie Damron was reported missing after leaving her home on September 24th, and a joint investigation by the Maine State Police and FBI has not turned up any leads on her whereabouts.

Local residents and family will hold Damron’s vigil Saturday, December 21st at New Sweden First Baptist Church.

The vigil will be held at 1 p.m. The church can seat up to 150 people, according th tohe Bangor Daily News.

This week, the FBI and Maine State Police announced a $15,000 reward for information about her disappearance.

Damron is among at least 36 missing person cases in Maine, according to the Maine State Police. Find that list here.
