Waterville Man Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison for Child Porn

BANGOR, Maine (WGAN)  A Waterville man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for possessing child pornography.

41-year-old Darin Doe was also sentenced to 10 years of supervised release and will have to pay $5,000 restitution, says Maine’s U.S. attorney Halsey B. Frank.

According to court records, Doe had over 7,000 computer files with images of child pornography. Most of the images involved girls under the age of 12.

Doe plead guilty to charges in July.
