Waterville schools closed after body discovered inside school bus

The discovery of a body inside of a school bus in Waterville is under investigation.

According to CBS 13 News, Waterville Police received a call reporting a person found slumped over the steering wheel of a bus in a parking lot at Waterville Junior High School around 4:30 Monday morning.

Investigators don’t suspect foul play and said there’s no threat to the public. The person’s name has not been released.

Waterville public schools were closed Monday.
