The Wells Police Department is investigating numerous vehicle burglaries that the department says occurred during the overnight hours between 10:00 p.m. Friday and 2:00 a.m. Saturday

Officers say the burglaries took place in the area extending from the Wells Post Office north toward Kennebunk.

Police are asking Wells residents and businesses in the area to review any available security, doorbell, or dash camera footage from that time period for suspicious activity.

They say any video or information that could help identify the people involved in the burglaries would be helpful.

Anyone with relevant footage or information is asked to contact Corporal Jeffrey Galasyn at the Wells Police Department at 207-646-9354.
