Wells to Hold ‘Reverse’ Christmas Parade After Weather Cancellation

Wells Chamber of Commerce

The Wells Chamber of Commerce is holding what it calls a “Reverse Parade” after the cancellation of Sunday’s Christmas Parade during a snowstorm.

The Chamber says the Reverse Parade involves the original floats and music groups lining up around the road inside Wells Harbor Park, with visitors able to drive by.

The new event is being staged this Sunday from 1-2 pm., with attendees able to collect candy or treats.

The Wells Chamber says it’s holding the Reverse Parade because participants spent a lot of time and money constructing floats, as well as making costumes and practicing.
