West Coast Consulting Firm to Write Maine’s Pot Regulations

A Los Angeles consulting firm will help Maine write its recreational marijuana regulations.

On Friday, the Maine Department of Administrative and Financial Services announced that BOTEC Analysis will be the state’s pot consultant. According to the Portland Press Herald, BOTEC advised the state of Washington with the design and implementation of adult use and medical marijuana policies.

The consulting firm is expected to finish writing the regulations for Maine by the end of April.
