Westbrook Apartment Building Catches Fire

Over a dozen people in Westbrook evacuated their apartment building after a fire Friday morning. Officials say the fire took place at the building on Walker Street around 9 a.m.

Our info partners at CBS 13 News report no one was hurt and minimal damaged was caused. According to officials, the fire started when food was left cooking on a stove.

All residents were allowed back in the building after electricity was restored.
