Wind, rain to lash New England as Maine recovers from storm

PORTLAND, Maine (AP) A storm packing gusts upward of 60 mph is moving into New England, promising to spread more misery in locked-down states.

In Maine, Central Maine Power and Emera Maine utility crews haven’t even wrapped up their work from the last storm. They’ve been working around the clock since a snowstorm late last week knocked out power to a quarter-million homes and businesses. M

eteorologist Tom Hawley from the National Weather Service said more power outages are inevitable on Monday.
