Windham Police say they’ve arrested two people after a car chase involving a suspected drunk driver.

Officers say the car failed to pull over for a traffic stop at about 6 pm Monday, which led to the chase that concluded near the intersection of Tandberg Trail and Gray Road.

They say two people were taken into custody in connection with the incident, and their names are not being released at this time.

Windham Police did not specify what charges the suspects face other than the accusation of driving under the influence.

They say the scene was stabilized, and there is no danger to the public. Windham Police would like to thank the community for its patience and cooperation during this event.
