Wiscasset man accused of threatening to kill restaurant employee

WISCASSET, Maine (WGAN) Police arrested a Wiscasset man accused of threatening an employee after he was refused service at a local restaurant.

According to Wiscasset police, 35-year-old Jason Ladd was arrested Sunday and faces several charges. Officers were called to Lil’ Village Bistro to a report of a customer creating a disturbance and refusing to leave. Police said Ladd threatened to kill an employee who refused him service at the bar because he was visibly intoxicated.

Ladd attempted to flee on foot when police arrived but was caught after a brief chase. He’s charged with criminal trespass, terrorizing, violation of conditions of release, and refusing to submit to arrest/detention.
