Wisconsin woman strikes police cruiser on I-95 in Wells

Only minor injuries were reported after a Maine State Police cruiser was struck on the turnpike in Wells.

State troopers were investigating a crash Friday morning on the northbound side when a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Priscilla Eydra Kifayatullah of Wisconsin hit a stopped cruiser from behind.

Kifayatullah and Trooper Christopher Caldeira were taken to the hospital with possible minor injuries.

Traffic was backed up with one lane shut down for about an hour.
