Woman dies after getting burned at Kennebec County campground

A Maine woman who suffered burns at a campground has died.

The Maine Department of Public Safety says 46-year-old Liza Bragg of Albion was burned last Friday night at D&R Campground in China. She was standing near someone as they tried to start a fire.

Bragg was brought to a local hospital and then to Maine Medical Center in Portland where she died.

The Maine Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the accident.
