Woman Dies from Injuries Received in Home Fire

KENDUSKEAG, Maine (WGAN)  The State Fire Marshal’s Office  says a Kenduskeag woman has died from burns she received in a fire earlier this month.

Cheryl Bassett, 60, died Friday at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was seriously burned in a fire that swept her mobile home at 50 2nd Street in Kenduskeag on November 15.

Fire Investigators say the fire started in the living room, but the exact cause is still being investigated.  The mobile home was destroyed.
