Work underway to repair High Street in Portland after road washout

Repair work on High Street in Portland is expected to wrap up as soon as the end of next week after the road was washed out.

High Street between York and Commercial Streets is closed after the road was washed out Thursday morning.

The work is expected to be finished by the end of next week or early into the following week.

Traffic will remain open in the York and High Street intersection but may be restricted occasionally.
