Yarmouth Police Investigate Rash of Car Burglaries, Theft

Yarmouth police are investigating an outbreak of car burglaries and a theft in a short period of time.

Officers say there were eight auto break-ins with items taken, and one vehicle was stolen from a driveway between Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

They say the incidents occurred in four neighborhoods – the Princes Point Road, Sand Piper Cove, Curtis Road, and Pittee Creek Way neighborhoods.

Yarmouth Poilce are asking anyone with surveillance footage of suspicious behavior or unusual vehicle activity to notify them.

They’re also reminding people to lock their cars and remove valuables, including car keys / fobs from their vehicles.
