York County Deputy Rescues Teen From Burning Truck

A teen was rescued from a burning truck after it hit a tree Tuesday night in Waterboro.

The York County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Dylan Tardif, of North Waterboro, was transported by helicopter to Maine Medical Center in Portland. His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

The Portland Press Herald reports Deputy Kevin Collins pulled Tardif out of the truck while it was on fire.
