York County K-9 makes first drug bust

The newest K-9 with the York County Sheriff’s Office made his first drug bust over the weekend.

The sheriff’s office says Deputy Cody Frazier and the K-9 named Rebel responded to a report of suspicious activity at a Cornish business Sunday morning.

Rebel sniffed out a suspicious vehicle and alerted the deputy to the presence of narcotics.

Police found 1.9 grams of meth, 5.1 grams of fentanyl, a gun and other drug-related items.

50-year-old Richard Fenderson of Hiram was taken into custody.
