This program addresses what STRIVE does and their STRIVE for 5K: Saturday, Sept 14th. All proceeds benefit STRIVE, a non-profit in South Portland that supports over 1,000 tweens, teens and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Maine Points: Boots2Roots

Boots2Roots provides personalized and proactive support for active duty military members and their families who are transitioning to Maine. They focus on employment, navigating transition services, and community reintegration. And networking connections based on trust form the foundation of Boots2Roots.

Danny speaks with Executive Director Jen Fullmer and their new Program Director Bill Benson. In this program Boots2Roots addressed the needs of transitioning military members and the needs of Maine communities.
