Maine Points: Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter

Danny speaks with Drew Wyman, Executive Director of Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter and Renate Scholz, 2021 Greater Portland Walk to End Alzheimer’s Planning Committee Chair.

June is Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness month and a great time to get involved to end this devastating disease. The Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research programs. Held in six hundred communities across the country and in seven locations here in Maine, the Walks will be held in person this fall.

You are invited to be a part of this opportunity to honor and support those who are living with Alzheimer’s and all other dementias, their caregivers and families. The money we raise provides care and support for all those affected and advances research towards an eventual cure.
