Maine Points: Center For Grieving Children
Posted on by dmartignetti
We’re very happy to welcome the Center for Grieving Children back to Maine Points—we’ve had some great conversations with Anne Heros, the Center’s Executive Director. Today we’re welcoming Sara Asch, the Director of Outreach and Education there. The Center for Grieving Children offers a variety of programs and resources to help address different types of grief for children, their families, and adults working with children who are grieving. Peer support groups meet at our Portland and Sanford locations, and online.
Many listeners and other Maine residents have been hoping that today’s host, Shawn Moody, will throw his hat into the gubernatorial race again in 2026. In this segment, without calls, Shawn announces that he will NOT be throwing his hat into the race, and explains why he has suspended his campaign that never officially started.
It’s the final segment of calls on today’s edition of “Inside Maine” with Shawn Moody hosting. We will, of course, be back next week and taking your calls- 879-WGAN (879-9426)
Calls continue to come in for the third and fourth segments of the first “Inside Maine” of 2026 with Shawn Moody. In the second segment, Shawn welcomes longtime WGAN listener and caller, Mike Hall, a veteran, to talk about the recent events in Venezuela.
It’s the first Saturday of not only the month, but the year of 2026 too! That only means one thing- Shawn Moody is in the studio taking your calls for the first two segments of today’s show!
