Maine Points: Center For Grieving Children
Posted on by dmartignetti
We’re very happy to welcome the Center for Grieving Children back to Maine Points—we’ve had some great conversations with Anne Heros, the Center’s Executive Director. Today we’re welcoming Sara Asch, the Director of Outreach and Education there. The Center for Grieving Children offers a variety of programs and resources to help address different types of grief for children, their families, and adults working with children who are grieving. Peer support groups meet at our Portland and Sanford locations, and online.
The phones are ringing off the hook for today’s final segment with Shawn Moody! If you missed your chance to chime in, we will be back next week with Aaron Chadbourne hosting, and the phones will be open at 879-WGAN.
State Representative Nathan Wadsworth calls in with a live report from the Fryeburg Fair. Rep. Wadsworth’s family started the fair in the mid 1800’s and have been involved with it ever since.

The phones are open for the third segment of today’s show! But before we get to listener calls, Shawn welcomes Noah Thompson and Dan Bowden to talk about an incredible country music festival taking place tomorrow at the Limington Airport from 1-9 PM. Noah is one of the performers.
