Today we’re talking about a unique event that combines patriotism, remembrance, gratitude,and community service all in one powerful display. It’s called Flags for Heroes, an annual tradition that gives people the opportunity to honor the heroes in their lives—whether that’s a veteran, first responder, healthcare worker, teacher, family member, mentor, or anyone who has made a meaningfulimpact.
The event has become a moving tribute for thousands of Mainers while also helping support important community initiatives through Portland Rotary.
