Maine Points: Little Paws Big Hearts Pekingese Rescue

Danny speaks this week Susan Gayle LVT & Co founder and Dude the Ambassadog from Little Paws Big Hearts Pekingese Rescue . Founded in 2011 on a passion to saving Pekingese but now encompasses all small dog breeds. They are a 501c3 animal charity. Co Founder Christie Gourdoux covers the south east from her rural home in western Virginia and other helpers cover other parts of the country. They take in owner surrendered dogs, dogs from shelters that would otherwise be euthanized in Maine and in other parts of the country. They give Mainers who find themselves in circumstances beyond their control to ease their worry when they can no longer care for cherished family pets.
