Maine Hire-A-Vet Campaign.  This year marks our 10th year of the campaign connecting work ready Veterans with employers needing to hire.

Augusta Civic Center on 15AUG24 from 10:30 am to 3 pm | University of Maine Presque Isle on 26SEP24 from 11 am to 3 pm Poland Spring Conference Center on 17OCT24 from 11 am to 3 pm York County Community College on 22NOV24 again, 11 am to 3pm

The 2023 Campaign resulted in 237 Veteran hires with an average hourly wage of  $29.55

Since the campaign began in 2015, 2,098 Veterans have entered meaningful employment as a result of the campaign

Not only do we offer employment support during the campaign, we also have Veteran resource providers attending who can assist Veterans with Veteran Benefits, Medical and other needed support Veterans need

Employers understand the benefits that Veterans bring to their place of business such as dedication, loyalty, team work, working under pressure and an accelerated learning curve
