The Maine Nurse Practitioner Association (MNPA) is the state’s professional organization for nurse practitioners who constitute the largest group among Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs), and number about 3,700 in Maine. MNPA as an organization works tirelessly to make sure they have a clear voice for Nurse Practitioners within the states legislature, and have a place at the table for health care decision making within the state.

Closing arguments are scheduled Monday in one of hip-hop's most anticipated trials for the man accused of orchestrating the death of Tupac Shakur. Duane "Keffe D" Davis, 63, faces a single count of murder with a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang in the killing of Shakur in Las Vegas nearly 30 years ago.
