Maine Points: Portland Children’s Dyslexia Center

Portland Children’s Dyslexia Center are one of only two facilities in Maine dedicated to helping children with dyslexia learn to read; the other is our sister facility in Bangor. Using an Orton-Gillingham based multi-sensory based educational program that has been around for nearly 100 years, they have had great success working with children who cannot read and within 12-18 months have them reading two-three years ahead of their peers.
