Maine Points: Veterans Count Maine

On March 18th, Veterans Count had anticipated their fifth and largest radio thon to date- and then COVID-19 rolled into town. Management made the difficult decision to cancel the radio thon and make new plans for a contactless, responsibly hosted event- now planned for May 28th on Newsradio WGAN. Danny speaks with Joe Reagan about Memorial Day and about the Radiothon happening on May 28th.

The purpose of this program is to inform our Mainers how Veterans Count Maine helps provide critical and timely financial assistance and services when no other resource is available to veterans, service members and their families to ensure their dignity, health and overall well-being.
