Mark founded the organization in honor of his son Jared Schmitz and the 12 others who perished at the Abbey Gate in Kabul, Afghanistan, on August 26, 2021. We will discuss the foundation’s mission, and Mark will share a bit about his son. We will also talk to Dawn Moore, a US Navy and US Air Force veteran, about her service.
