We will speak to MSG Jason Lister, a US Army Veteran who volunteers his time for the Civil Air Patrol. Major George Dooley is a US Army Veteran who volunteered his time for the Civil Air Patrol. Lt. Col. Gregg Curtis is an Air Force Veteran and flight instructor at the University of Maine at Augusta and a volunteer for the Maine Wing of the Civil Air Patrol.

Firefighter Andrew Cross, 27, of the Morrill Fire Department, was killed in the line of duty while working to protect his community. This morning, a procession of over 100 first responders lined the roads to honor him and escort his remains back to Waldo County.
The Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office said a firefighter was found in the rubble of the fatal fire. Because of the complexity of the scene, the investigation is expected to take some time.
