Maine Points: Toys For Tots

The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas.The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity which was created at the behest of the U. S. Marine Corps in 1991. Danny speaks with Pete Levesque with Toys for Tots.

This program focuses on the work that Toys For Tots does for our Maine Community

C.A.P.’s mission is to engage in Cadet Programs, Emergency Services, and Aerospace Education. The cadet program mentors cadets through character development and leadership skills training while teaching discipline, respect, and enabling these teens to become the leaders of tomorrow. I have a great respect for that aspect of the program and take great pride in teaching and training these cadets as well.

This program focuses on the importance of Civil Air Patrol has on our community and how one can volunteer.
