We speak with Dan Lampariello Investigative Reporter with CBS13 WGME speaks to us. Tonight on WGME they will cover a story on how electric vehicle makers (Tesla, Ford, Chevy, Hyundi) are ditching AM radios in their cars because they claim there can be interference with the car’s electric tech. The decision has left some emergency management officials concerned because AM can reach such a large number of people in an emergency. A lot of AM stations are also frustrated that they won’t be able to be heard in these cars.
