A Brunswick police officer has been charged with assault.
Brunswick officer Nathan Day was charged by the Maine Attorney General’s Office on Monday in West Bath District Court.
Details about the assault accusations were not immediately available.
WMTW reports that Day has been placed on administrative leave.
Day is listed as a “police officer” on the Brunswick Police Department’s staff directory.
