A group of businesses just completed their THRIVE program with The Small Business Administration. We speak with Christy Hemenway Owner Of Gold Star Honeybees. Christy has authored two how-to books on beekeeping in top bar hives, “The Thinking Beekeeper – A Guide to Natural Beekeeping in Top Bar Hives” and its sequel, “Advanced Top Bar Beekeeping. Run Amok Mead, the companion business, opened a tasting room in September 2022. The business’ products are available in 16 local markets and retailers.
