Matt discusses the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, which aims to bypass the Electoral College by aggregating states’ electoral votes based on the national popular vote. With Virginia’s recent addition, the compact now includes 18 states plus D.C., totaling 222 electoral votes. The threshold for the compact to take effect is 270 electoral votes.
