The Justice Department accused her of funneling overpayments from a federally funded COVID-19 vaccination staffing contract through her family’s healthcare company to her campaign. Matt Gagnon criticized the scheme, highlighting the misuse of FEMA funds and the corruption involved. He also referenced similar issues in Maine politics, emphasizing the misuse of taxpayer dollars for personal gain and the need for accountability in political funding.
