1 dead in Blue Hill, Maine, car crash

BLUE HILL, Maine (AP) Police in Maine say a 66-year-old Blue Hill man died in a car crash in his hometown.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said Richard Branco drifted across an coming lane of traffic before going off road early on Monday. The car crashed into a utility pole and several trees.

Police say the crash happened about two miles west of the Surry town line off Route 172.
